When you’ve been continually disappointed by people and circumstances, it’s hard to trust that God could produce any other outcome, than more disappointment, which has literally sucked the life out of you leaving you feeling hopeless and dejected.
When life doesn’t happen the way we pictured, we wonder, where is this God?
We rationalize that God is far off, distant and uninvolved in our day to day lives. We excuse Him and take matters of our lives into our own hands. Abandoning His ways, neglecting to read the bible and pray, we grow distant from Him. Is that you? At one point, that was me too.
Life is within, and without God inside of you, life can be very lonely, even when you’re in a crowded room.
Your heart may be hurting and in need of healing. You may be desperate and in need of a solution. You may be far from the life you pictured, but trust in God once again, He absolutely has a plan for you. He can and will heal your heart. He can make sense of the disappointment. He can give you His vision and purpose for your life. He is with you. In fact, he never left you. God will work all things, yes even the hurtful things, together for your good.
